By using TheAudit.AI, you consent to the data collection and usage practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect personal information, including names, email addresses, and company details, as well as business information, such as policies, procedures, audit documents, and sample control testing data. This information is essential for conducting compliance audits and providing users with accurate assessments. Data collection occurs through user input when users provide information directly through our platform, as well as third-party integrations, where necessary, to facilitate our auditing services.

The information collected is used to perform compliance audits, maintain necessary documentation, and enhance the functionality of our AI-driven auditing technology. Additionally, we retain records for legal and regulatory compliance purposes. We do not share user data with third parties except in situations where the user has explicitly authorized us to do so, such as providing access to regulators, sponsor banks, or compliance partners. We may also disclose information when required by law or regulatory requests.

All data submitted to TheAudit.AI is stored securely on AWS cloud infrastructure with access controls in place to prevent unauthorized access. We implement industry-standard security measures, and as part of our commitment to data security, we are working towards SOC 2 compliance.

User data is retained for a period of five (5) years following the closure of an account. Due to compliance requirements, users cannot request the deletion of data that must be maintained as part of our audit work papers. However, users may contact us to request access to their data or correct inaccuracies.

Currently, we do not utilize third-party tracking tools such as Google Analytics or marketing trackers. If this changes in the future, updates will be reflected in this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our data practices. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services after updates will be considered as acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
